Alice Degelow is based in Rotterdam and Berlin. Her work centers on collecting, structuring and arranging found materials. She works with what already exists – discarded items, objects from the street, or donated secondhand materials – breathing new life into them. By reshaping familiar forms, Alice invites viewers to rethink their assumptions about the world around us. Her sculptures reflect the everyday, responding to sensory experiences, power dynamics, and relationships of dependency embedded in ordinary objects and systems. Ultimately, her work invites reflection, questioning, and reimagining.
